A junior postdoctoral fellow (PF) is required to conduct the studies on exosomal content. Experience in exosome analysis, miRNA analysis and mass spectrometry are requisite. The PF will also required to work with the research team to isolate exosomes from blood samples and conduct the analytical determinations, including nanoparticle tracking analysis and content.

Experience in quality control system and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 for general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories is fundamental for the position.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking candidates with a PhD (or equivalent) in the area of Biological Sciences/Medicine. You will have demonstrated expert knowledge in the area of mass spectrometry analysis and miRNA sequencing.

You will have experience in extracellular vesicles isolation and characterisation and quality control system and International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) 17025 for general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

You must have evidence of high-level contribution to research, including an established track record of peer-reviewed publications and/or successful external grant applications as well as highly developed teamwork and communication skills, including excellent record keeping, written and interpersonal skills.

What We Can Offer

This is a full time, fixed term position until 31 December 2020 at Academic Level A. The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $69,342 – $92,782 plus super of up to 17%.
