GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Postdoctoral Position in exosomes in AD and their utility as biomarkers
Working jointly in the laboratories of Dominic Walsh and Dennis Selkoe at the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking an experienced biochemist/cell biologist. The successful applicant will join a small, focused team working on the isolation and characterization of exosomes from human samples and cell culture medium. The project will be labor-intensive and requires a highly motivated candidate with an excellent work ethic and an eye for detail.
Applicants should have well-demonstrated hands-on experience in biochemistry and cell biology, as shown by publications in these disciplines. Experience with ELISA is essential and experience working with laboratory animals is advantageous.
The successful applicant will be exposed to a wide range of additional techniques and will interact on a daily basis with the PIs and a diverse and active group of molecular scientists interested in neurodegeneration.
