DESCRIPTION

The UCLA School of Dentistry invites applications for the position of Assistant Researcher, Step 1, in the Division of Oral Biology and Medicine, Section of Oral Biology, beginning March 1, 2017. This is a paid, 100% time, non-tenure track, soft funded position with an expected end date one year from the actual start date of the appointment, though subject to the availability of continued soft funding.

The candidate must have both a DDS and PhD in medical science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years postdoctoral experience strongly preferred. She or he should have extensive prior experience studying salivary exosomes and how they are involved in recognizing and controlling immune cells through the gastrointestinal tract. She or he must either possess or be eligible to obtain and possess valid USA employment authorization.
